you dont know that a bite or scrape would infect them, mabe its airborne and only cirtain ppl get infected...

Well for all you know Gold just saved you from getting eaten by the lady.

As for Tim shooting - You fire 15 rounds. Most pass through the zombies doing zero damage, you miss several times too, but score a headshot and note it was the only kill.

Unluckily, the shots from you two cause more zombies to begin advancing.

I'm going to bed now. 4am and I have to be up at 9 Razz

Status Update:

At the school everyone has finished the makeshift barricade, taken inventory of the canteen supplies, and eaten their first meal under seige.

A number of zombies have begun clawing at the gates. From the looks of it there are only a hundred or so; but there are many more in plain sight of the roof. The barricades under assault appear to be able to survive the night. To see which sections are under attack look to Stronghold.

Nine survivors have also asked to be let in on seperate occasions - several of which are injured. One attempts to climb in regardless of you. What did you tell them?

Lax on the other hand, is trapped inside his garage, fortifying his jeep for an escape plan. He has enough food for two weeks, but water for only three days. Several zombies are already pounding on his door, which for now appears to be holding.

A small squad could attempt to rescue him on foot; but doing so would use up a lot of ammo should you choose to use guns. On the other hand, the massive cashe of melee weapons in the sports facilities might help you get through.

Suggested priorities:

Posting lookouts to cover the entire area.

Strengthening rooms under attack (note: construction will now be applied in a ridgid, turn and point based structure. See Stronghold update for details)

Restoring power (which logic dictates should be at the mains)

Possibly rescuing Lax. (though doing so would remove any people to help with base stuff).

Also: seven people actually seems to be working quite well. And I would like a character for Seath's game Razz

Let them in one at a time and examine them for zombie bites. If they are infected, take them out back and shoot them in the head.

"All survivors are subject to strip search. We need to examine them for bite marks. This school is no longer a democracy, and personal ownership no longer applies. Vital supplies will be confiscated and redistributed to increase effectiveness. All survivors coming into the school will be subject to solitary confinement for a period of one to two weeks to ensure they aren't infected."

split em up into two groups and put them in out door areas, i dont think we have enough room in the school to confine seprately

we can have 2 sentrys watch the groups from the roof

Many protest the conditions, two or three choose to simply run for it before more show up. In the end however you are left with five people, of which three are injured, two of them seemingly bitten.

None seem to be carrying any major supplies besides a few powdered or tinned meals, explaining that they simply ran for it. One of the seemingly bitten is holding a bloodied lamp and a swath of bandages.

If you feed them all you stand to lose three days of food.

Note: There is no way yet for you to understand the infection properly and you haven't seen anyone rise from the dead yet. Just sayin'.

I'm a game designer, Cheese. I know a zombie when I see one. The others might not understand the nature of the infection, but I'm a paranoid bugger whose been planning for this day most of my life. It's just too bad the day came while I was on a business trip...ruined all my carefully laid plans.
