Zombie War - Point Buy

DO NOT POST UNLESS YOU ARE TAKING A TURN. If you have any questions, PM me. If you want to discuss what turns to make so you don't both do the same thing, use Strategy.

There are two things to do every turn.

Train represents your time studying essential survival skills. These are the skill stats, such as Smith or Horticulture. The amount of points you gain per turn depends on your location. For example, your current location has a library, which would give you a bonus. Use Skill points to buy from the tech tree.

Note: You get 3 construction points and 1 Librarian point per turn auto. When librarian reaches 5, it can be distributed into other skills.

Purchase. You can buy ONE skill from the tech tree per turn, providing you have points for it. If you buy a skill only one person will gain it (unless obviously otherwise). Some skills are useful to have more than one person proficient in - others are not. Judge carefully what to buy.

Some purchases, such as Antibiotics (which cures a basic sickness) are action purchases and can be bought as many times during a turn as you want. Others can only be used in missions. It's usually obvious which these are.

Ok, new plan.

Since construction didn't make decent sense off paper I'm changing the turn base.

In this section all you need to do now is select what to train and what to purchase. So can everyone do that again please now that the tech tree is up?


I will make a new section for construction and delete construction points as you build stuff. This should make it easier to monitor.


Any actions will now take place in the missions section, though they have basically done so already.

I'm handling that because there are a bunch of factors. Including numbers of days the turn represents, the resources available, and how busy you are doing other stuff.

At the moment you're getting three. (one for it being one day, one for having a library, and an extra one for good measure.

Also Tim. you have to have five librarian points before you're allowed to distribute. So you can actually do it now but not last turn.

Oh sorry that was my bad. For some reason I was thinking the Librarian point I was adding for today's turn. It was because you said redistribute 4 to smith and confused me Razz I'll fix that now.

Right, I'm off to bed. I'm sure Lax and Drag can handle themselves until morning. When they get back I'll skip to the next two days, which is the sixth day I believe. Big things will be going down then.

As for tonight, same drill as always - train, purchase, and tip generously.

If Lax posts his situation in the next twenty minutes or so I might catch it and be able to respond; but we'll see..
