*After working my first shift*
Action: prepare a garden in a secure place near the house dividing the seeds into two sections: food, and reproduction. Also begin experimenting with local materials to try and speed crop growth if at all possible.

Of course I did! It was probably one of the only things I brought, other than the other saw knife.

Good enough for me. I was thinking I wouldn't, but your character was waaay more likely to.

JB - speeding crop growth is in the tech tree. Vegetable garden plus, it's called.

It is one month later. The camp slowly fills up as more and more evacuees are brought in from various towns. Apart from Nottingham, it appears there have been no major urban outbreaks in the US.

Due to Phalanx boosting the medicare industry and giving people the confidence to invest in the stock market again, the recession seems to be coming to a close.

Nate rarely finds infected, but when he does they are immediately removed from the compound.

News from the rest of the world is mixed. The outbreak seems to be slipping from the media eye. It almost seems as though the world may recover.

But deep in your gut you know this might not be the case. You're next plan of action should be the suggested location of a new fortification in case of another major, or god forbid, worldwide outbreak.

"All we can really do is be prepared. Everyone should keep a suitcase packed and ready to go in case another outbreak occurs. If you can slip some extra supplies away to be packed and ready to move, that'd be great."

Ok, here's the skinny. Since I'm going to uni very soon we can either let the game die, or someone can step up as GM. I'll do a writeup of the timeline for them and I'm sure the rest is fairly straightforward by now. I'm fine with either.

@Tim - the base is run on handouts. Apart from the canteen there is very little in the way of shops.

I was gonna leave it here a little longer, but because it seems not much is happening I'll skip to your release.

The numbers in the quarantine zone quickly rise and level out when you get to near maximum occupancy. Due to the careful examination procedures, Nate only sees around three infected people in his entire career there. When he reports these they are escorted off in the same white vans as in Nottingham.

Coverage of the outbreak has largely ceased upon your release. You are in a small town up North, populated with very few other survivors - you appear to have been spread thing. Your group are still neighbours. It is now November.

You have all your firearms returned, are given vehicles, computers, internet, tv, whath ave you. Enjoy.
