Awesome. I like this idea. Kinda keeps our creativeness flowing.

That one you made right there reminds me of the Avatar movie. It looks like the jungles on whatever planet there on. AKA its cool. Very Happy

Great. How long does art like that usually take you, Krazy? Like, where you just start from scratch.

1 hour to 1.5 hours

i'm hoping to have that down to 30-50 minutes by the end of the month

i'm cheating today... since I posted this on the 2nd i'm not actually doing one on the 2nd... I did lots of art today... including about 15 static meshes for my unreal tournament 3 map... about 5 textures for said map... and a painting for my color theory class (terrible painting... hate the project and class and ridiculous time limits)

so I am starting on dec 2nd with everyone else

Day 2 - Dec 2

UT3 map

everything in the map is by me... except the weapons and characters... today I flushed out the walls with that wall panel mesh and texture... gonna redo the column mesh and texture to match the newer grungier look

You know I always wanted to get UT3. Played the crap out of the Demo that I had on my laptop and it seemed like a fun game. I loved the darkwalker.

Anyways, that's pretty cool what you made there Krazy. Is it a long process to make it and then upload it into the game? Or is it relatively simple to do if you know what your doing?

Going on my knowledge of Hammer (Source engine mapping program), it's not too hard. You design the map and can compile and run the game straight from the program. I've made a few maps over the last year or so. They're bloody ugly, but great fun to design and play GunGame on.

That's actually very nice. The simple things are always the best.

I was playing around with the lighting effects in photoshop. P.S. the thing in the middle are my initials (its not a heart).

Great art in here Very Happy Art makes me happy, so i've decided to take up art as a new hobby. Paper art btw, considering wacom tablets cost a lot, and I think that kind of art is easier. First I need to actually go out and buy supplies..... so yeah, don't think i'll be posting anything anytime soon though Smile
